. The term black five came from application of SOP 8, wherein the
auditor
tests the
preclear
at each
step
of the
process
to find a
step
the
preclear
can
do and begins
processing
at that
step
. A
preclear
who had to b e started at
Step V
of the
process
was called a "
Case V
." This
level
of
case
could not
get
mock-ups
but only
blackness
.
