rationality toward the highest level of survival for the individual, the future race, the group and mankind. Ethics is reason and the contemplation of optimumsurvival. A system of ethics exists in Scientology whereby a person cantake certain actions to correct some conduct or situation in which he is involved which is contrary to the ideals and best interests of his group. Ethics consists simply of the actions an individual takes on himself. It is a personal thing. When one is ethical or "has his ethics in," it is by his own choice and is done by himself.
