KANT, IMMANUEL

KANT, IMMANUEL
ScnMaster
(1724 - 1804) German philosopher. He sought to determine laws and the limits of man's knowledge and form a division between what he considered knowable or common knowledge and "truth beyond human experience." He believed that one discovered the nature of reality by investigating the process of thought rather than the objects of sense experience. —The Anatomy of the Human Mind Glossary
