a car made in the USA which initially appeared in 1908. It was produced by the Ford Motor Company and was their first car made with left-handsteering. The gears were changed by the use of a foot pedal. Anybody could drive it and most any man or boy could fix it. It sold for 260 dollars at the time and is now a collector's item. —HDA Tapes (Oakland Lectures) Approved Glossary (16.4.92)
