Joseph Pilsudski (1867 - 1935), Polish general and statesman. He was the absolutedictator of Poland from 1920 to 1921, when the Polish constitution was drafted and accepted by the Polish parliament. Thereafter, he became the minister of war, from which position he was virtual dictator.
