THING OF NO COLOR, THE

THING OF NO COLOR, THE
ScnTUEU
a reference to a murderous object of horror that appears in a story entitled The Damned Thing, written by American author and journalist Ambrose Bierce (1842-1914). Detectable by its footprints and the pressed-down grass left in its passing, the "Damned Thing" has no color and is thus not visible to the eye. The story tells of a man and his encounters with the thing and of his final destruction at the hands of the invisible creature.
