emotional tones of a person. These, ranged from the highest to the lowest, are, in part,
serenity, enthusiasm (as we proceed downward),
conservatism,
boredom,
antagonism,
anger,
covert hostility,
fear,
grief,
apathy. An
arbitrary numerical
value is
given to each
level on the
