Slovary is a multilingual reference dictionary. We designed it to be private by default: the dictionaries work fully offline, and we do not run advertising, do not track you across other apps or websites, and do not sell your data.
We do not use your data for advertising, and we do not track you across other companies’ apps or websites.
We do not sell your data and do not share it with third parties for their own purposes. Data is processed only by us and by the infrastructure providers that host the app (for example Apple and Google for app distribution, and our own server). Where required by law, we may disclose information in response to a valid legal request.
All communication between the app and our servers is encrypted in transit (HTTPS/TLS). We keep data only as long as needed for the purposes above. You can clear your local history in the app at any time, and you can request deletion of any synced data (see Contact).
No account is required to browse the dictionaries offline. Account and sync features are optional; if you don’t use them, no search data leaves your device.
Slovary is a general-audience reference tool and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
The service may be operated from, and data processed in, jurisdictions that differ from your own. By using Slovary you consent to this processing as described here.
We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected on this page with a new “last updated” date.
